Exciting update regarding Foundation Podiatry

After 18 years, it’s time for a change!

Hayley and the Foundation Podiatry team have partnered with the Healthia Group and will be working out of the My FootDr building on Ross River Road, commencing in July 2024.

Like many industries – the Podiatry profession is in quite a pickle with dwindling new graduate numbers and high attrition/burnout rate. Despite 18 months of searching, we’ve been unable to encourage a full time Podiatrist to relocate to Townsville to help us out.

Since Emma left earlier in the year for her trip of a lifetime, Hayley has been doing her best to manage an enormous patient load plus juggle the behind the scenes running of the business - and it is simply not sustainable.

You can still expect the same level of service and care!

Biomechanical / Musculoskeletal Podiatry

• Running & sports injury management
• Chronic pain management
• Mobility, balance & strength plans
• Custom foot orthoses, Richie braces, AFO’s
• Shockwave therapy
• Prolotherapy regenerative injection therapy
• Children’s lower limb pain & gait concerns

(We still DO NOT provide General Podiatry treatment which includes skin & nail care, diabetic foot assessments)

Our clinic is now temporarily closed.

We're busy with the transition and some exciting renovations are currently underway at the Mundingburra clinic to spruce it up to the FP standard 😉  We will even have our own reception area – so look for the bright green doors to enter! And Hayley is going to squeeze in a well-deserved break, 18 years in biz is a long time after all!
